The order from the expanding Egyptian carrier includes options for an additional three planes, Airbus said. EgyptAir, the state-owned airline based in Cairo, said in a preliminary announcement Aug. 15 that two A330-200F planes to be used for training were part of the order, which will bring to 12 the number of A330-200s in EgyptAir&#8217;s fleet.
